THE WAY I THINK ABOUT TRAVEL

The details make
the difference.

A beautiful view is only part of the story.
The best plans make space for
your budget, your energy and your interests.

01

A base that works
in real life.

Look beyond the balcony. Think about groceries, transport, steps and the route back after dinner. A well-chosen neighbourhood can change the whole stay.

02

A budget for living,
not just arriving.

Flights are the beginning. Accommodation, utilities, local journeys and ordinary meals shape a longer trip. Keep a reserve for the unexpected.

03

Enough time
to enjoy being there.

Leave an afternoon unplanned. Add a lighter day after a transfer. Choose the outing you really want, and give yourself time to enjoy it.

Before booking, check current entry rules, transport details and provider terms for your own trip. Prices and local arrangements can change.

THE TRAVEL JOURNAL

Before you book,
make room for a little thought.

Plan the everyday budget, ask better accommodation questions and give your arrival day some breathing space.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

Hello, I’m Edit.

I love discovering beautiful places — and finding a sensible way to reach them.

I’m a Hungarian author writing practical travel guides for people over 50. My focus is on the decisions behind a satisfying journey: where to stay, what everyday life might cost, how to get around and how to leave enough time to enjoy it.

I’m especially interested in warmer winters and longer stays. Travel should make room for curiosity, comfort and a budget you can live with.
